Fun & easy workshop for children & adults
Imagine suddenly “grandma wakes up in the jungle”, “two classmates that can’t stand each other go together on honeymoon” or "you go for a swim with the penguins in Patagonia”
This workshop is here to relax and set you free from the constraints of truth, reality and daily life routine.
Through this workshop we address two of our most important needs: preserving memories and telling stories.
We combine photography with other creative mediums such as drawings, writings, illustration, magazine cut-outs, in order to tell a story about us and our environment: family, friends, nature, neighbourhood, workplace, school … anything you can think of.
How does it work?
Each participant comes to the workshop with 30 photos printed on photo paper or cardboard. They can be family photos, postcards, photos from holidays or various other events, with people or landscapes, colour or black&white. But be careful: these photos will be sacrificed, make sure you have doubles!
We cut from the photos the characters and other elements of the stories we want to highlight.
We paint, draw or glue the backgrounds.
We pop-up. 😊
Glue the tabs together and add a cover.
That's it, we can be proud of our first pop-up book and admire the creations of others.
We keep the last 10 minutes for feedback and sharing the experience.
